Wilson sent me email Date: 4 Dec 2001 7:48 PM GMT Adam Brand (1823-1904) and his wife Margaret Simon Brand (1827-1900) were my great-grandparents. They came to this country in about 1850 and lived in Salinas NY. They moved to Clay NY and farmed there. Their oldest child, Katherine Brand Wilson Pattenden was my great-grandmother. (Charles Pattenden was her second husband.) Their other children were Philip, Adam (who married Julia Sahm and had a son named Philip and a daughter named Margaret), Valentine (who married a woman named Lillian and had three sons--William, Jesse, and Raymond), Frank (sometimes known as Henry; he married a woman named Elma and had two sons--Walter & Clifford--and a daughter--Gladys), Mary (who married Frederick Pollay), and Willie (who died at the age of 3). I do not know if Kenneth Brand is related to them, but perhaps you might recognize some of the names. | ||||||
