lived in Pulaski with his wife Henrietta they had no children. Came to US from Canada in 1888 Telegraph Messenger in 1900 William Morrison died at his home in Lorraine early Tuesday morning, May 13. He had lived in this village for the last six years and his health had been poor for a long time. Two weeks ago he seemed to be gaining and was able to be out nearly every day but suddenly he was taken down again and death soon followed. Mr. Morrison was born in Port Dal Housie, Canada 59 years ago, the son of the late William H. and Cecelia Lawson Morrison. He was a painter and decorator by trade and followed the work for over 35 years. He is survived by his widow and three sisters, Mrs. John Waterman of Camillus (my grandmother Stella), Mrs. Elizabeth Herb of Syracuse, and Mrs. Ida Chamberlain of Detroit, Michigan; also several nieces and nephews." There is no year mentioned but I suppose it must have been in the early 40s since he was older than Stella grandmother born in 1887. | ||||||
