NIES CELEBRATE THEIR 71ST
Congratulations to William and Doris (Haibt) Nies of North Syracuse on their 71st wedding anniversary, which they celebrated Dec. 2. They were married in St. John's Lutheran Church, then located at Prospect Avenue and Butternut Street, North Side, in 1925.
William grew up on Lodi Street and Doris lived her early years on East Division Street. He is 91 years old and Doris is 90. They both attended Vocatonal High School.
