| Syracuse Post Standard Friday 2APR1948 page: 22 col: 2 Mrs. Claribel Lay Mele, resident of Syracuse 69 years, died yesterday at her home, 104 Wayland rd. She was a native of Cazenovia. Mrs. Mele was a member of Trinity Episcopal church. Surviving are her husband, Frank Mele; a son, F. William Mele of Laurelton, N.J.; a daughter, Mrs. Samuel Herrick; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Miller & Waidele funeral rooms byu the Rev. C.A. Rosekrans, with burial in Myrtle Hill cemetery. In 1948 at death, she lived at 104 Wayland Rd. She was a native of Cazenovia. Member of Trinity Episcopal Church. | ||||||
